On Thursday, October 25th, 2012, the European Champion 2012 of the "Industrial Excellence Award" was named within the 9th WirtschaftWoche Conference in Neufahrn near Munich.

Continental (Foix) won against AERNNOVA (Álava, Spain) and BMW (Landshut, Germany).

The European Champion was announced on October 26th, 2012 in WirtschaftsWoche. Furthermore, FORBES and LE FIGARO publish an article about Continental.
